I'm six minutes into this episode and thanks for showin' how the sausage is made. I had no problem with the show as it is/was, but I'm pleased to hear about the new plans.

Keeping with the "ingredients" theme, I'll suggest a tag for any time you need to rate or rank things: "the short stack"

I don't know how your personal economies are these days, but I will highly suggest your attendance of MaxFunCon(.com) in May if you can swing it. You'll be able to hob-nob with other big time podcast people, comedy wonders, and generally help get a bunch of exposure for your show.

That was very informative. I can see that in the package, it is written "Taiwan Corporation". What does it mean? It was manufactured in Taiwan and I don't know what part in Asia or maybe in Africa or America it being sold.

Holy Snappers, Tadlock! You writing about the beastielist made me sentimental fo' sho. I totally remember the sweet spot (1996 to 1998) which was such a dry spell for beasties fans. Sure, we got a megatour in 1995 (remember JSBX??) and Aglio E Olio in 1996 but pretty much those tibetan freedom concerts ruled beastiedom. Two things have been mixed together. Calling a spade a spade is an old card playing expression referring to the practice of some cheats to hide most of a club card in their hand to pass it off as a spade thereby completing their hand. On a totally separate wave the word spade from the black card, was taken as a term to be applied to black people. People have mistakenly crossed the two uses and have made a racial slur out of an innocent expression. I hear calling a spade a spade ( meaning calling a thing what it is) used quite a lot so it isn't universally understood to be a racist slur.
